So, not only do we have the expensive holiday season upon us, two of my kids have birthdays that fall in the last half of December.
How's that for planning?
Naomi, my baby is 22 years old today! Big anniversary for her. And for me. Because those children by birth, both of you are involved on a very elemental level.
Family planning? Ha! We didn't pay much attention to all that. Which could be the reason we have four kids.
But Naomi is my baby, my youngest.
Pretty good celebration going on around here. She picked out a cover for her IPad and there's a few other wrapped gifts. We went out to the neighborhood Greek place for lunch (hey, I always wondered why Dennis always ordered the Greekburger, now I know, delicious). I've made her a lemon pie. Actually all my kid pick the lemon pie for their birthday. My mother's recipe. I think her friend Leslie and her parents are coming over later. And we're going to have the big dinner at a restaurant with all the sibs that are around plus significant others. I believe we'll have seven. Ilana and Matt are somewhere below the Mason Dixon line currently.
'Tis the season to pick up expensive restaurant bills...
We went out into the backyard to take some birthday pictures. With Teddy with his special fleece coat. An action shot then a nice smile from Naomi, 22 years old!
