Ilana works at a new library for maps, governments and data services which just had its grand opening. She won a lottery among the student workers for four seats at a special dinner given for the main donor the day of the official opening. She reports that only sixteen people were invited, nice music, many forks, wonderful food and a chance to meet the donor and the top library staff.
She had been talking about this fancy dinner for "Mr. C." for weeks; she was quite excited that she would be able to attend.
One of the many opportunities she's had at this large highly ranked midwestern university. A great program especially for a motivated student.
