Today we had our Thanksgiving 1, the Sunday Thanksgiving mostly with Dennis' family. The only one of my kids here was Danny who brought Melina. Susanna is in Colorado, Ilana is in Michigan and Naomi is in Ellensburg. The weather conditions and pass were iffy and I encouraged Naomi NOT to come. She'll be here on Wednesday for the usual break. We planned for 12, we had 11, Jessica had to work. We took a group picture but I like this picture better.
Dennis had to do his usual engineering job. How to sit enough people and where. He came up with this solution. Put all of the leaves in my mother's table and put it in the living room. Put a card table in the dining room for serving and desserts. Worked out fine. A step up from our 4x8 sheer of plywood.
Melina was here' also Matthew, Ilana's boyfriend. Krystal brought her boyfriend also named Matt. Danny also brought his dog Maddie (yorkie-poo) which added a loud layer of chaos but eventually the dogs settled down. Maddie is definitely alpha iver Teddy. Everybody is alpha over Teddy.
