Photoessay #1542 - Some fall color

Here, in the Puget Sound region, we had our best weather in September. Very unusual, often the seasons change before the end of August. But now in mid-October, starting to look like autumn. The leaves are turning; some years they turn in September.

Picture of my scented azalea bush by my front door. Love that bush though it has the neglected combo of being half-dead and overgrown at the same time. I love having a scented azalea bush right by the front door because the person entering or leaving the house gets a short sweet surprise in the spring.
