
Here, in the Puget Sound region, we had our best weather in September. Very unusual, often the seasons change before the end of August. But now in mid-October, starting to look like autumn. The leaves are turning; some years they turn in September.
Picture of my scented azalea bush by my front door. Love that bush though it has the neglected combo of being half-dead and overgrown at the same time. I love having a scented azalea bush right by the front door because the person entering or leaving the house gets a short sweet surprise in the spring.
