Photoessay #1517 - The REAL broom closet

Naomi sent me the pictures of her actual real very small room. The first shot (which I rotated) looks like the view from from door. Turn left and that's the rest of the room. Dennis is right, that ladder takes up way too much room. The bed is lofted over the desk.

It's cozy.

Reminds me of a room Susanna had in one house during college. She had room from her bed and a desk and that was it. Her clothes were in the linen closet on the landing at the top of the stairs.

Of course, in my world, people are starting to think of smaller spaces, not bigger. I like my house now and the two stories seem fine. But I talk about a condo in Emonds but everybody I know talks about a condo in Edmonds. But, not right now. Our guest room seems to always have somebody staying in it. Susanna dropped a bunch of furniture in what used to be Ilana's room which makes it mostly unusable but Dennis has ideas. Naomi's in Ellensburg but Teddy, the dog, now sleeps in her room. He was out of sorts because he wanted Naomi and all his pet buddies in there with him.

Susanna's here raking the back yard and Teddy trots along with her constantly putting down his ball and nudging it to her in the desperate hope that she will throw it. He never gives up.
