Photoessay #1125 - Teddy wonders

Teddy (nearly 2 years old!) wonders why we don't go anywhere any more. Here it is Wednesday, and he does like having Naomi home (see right), but we haven't been to the dog park since FOREVER. Like Saturday. Nobody's thrown the ball in the backyard either.

Mainly because there's like 3 inches of snow on the ground and the temp is in the 20s. And the roads are full of unplowed ice and snow. He can't even find his tennis balls in the yard if he wanted to. He does go out there but mostly it's freezing and slippery.

So we aren't going anywhere and neither is Teddy. My UW writing class got canceled. My doctor appt got canceled. We're canceling parent group for tonight. Dennis and I did go to the grocery store last night when he came home from work.

But warmer weather is on its way. Probably by Thanksgiving afternoon. The greater Parker-Garrisons are coming tomorrow. So it will be fun. Naomi and I have already made the stuffing....

Teddy insists, a guy has to have some fun SOMETIMES. Cuddling inside is all well and good but where's the ACTION.
