I'm helping my friend Linda launch her new small business
Because I like her. And it's something to do. She's written a complete series of excel spreadsheets with explanations to set up accounting and decision-making for a small business. $79.95 buys the whole package! Just in case you're interested.
She's giving a series of seminars around town sponsored by the entrepreneurship people at the local community college plus other communities of suppliers to small business. You only push your product for 10% of the time or less. I enjoyed her talk! My job is to be at the table in back with the product. Hopefully selling things. We had 9 people at a community college seminar at the Shoreline City Hall. We had the beautiful new city council chamber. Beautiful room! I think the topic was "Measuring Profit in a Service Business"
We didn't sell any but got some good feedback and a congenial positive audience of 9 attendees.
I enjoyed it!
