Photoessay #968 - Valentine's Day

I made my traditional valentines this year.

Sorry Danny, I didn't make you one but Happy Valentine's Day!

Home made with construction paper. I usually cut a picture from a magazine or from a snapshot. Somehow, it's become one of the family traditions that you don't really want to give up, just because you're grown.

I've been going through tons of pictures, tossing out a lot. So now I have several shoeboxes of unsorted pictures so I'm not exactly sure if I've truly made any progress. But I had a lot easily accessible. Everybody likes these, but people don't take them so they hang out around the kitchen for a week or so and then get tossed. But I guess it's the thought that counts, right?

Found pictures of the girls...that's Susanna in her dress for the 8th grade dance. As usual, she went off with somebody ELSE's mom to get the dress. To my relief.

Since my daughters are now 20, 23, 25, you can tell that the pictures were taken a while ago....

Naomi's home from WSU this weekend. Supposedly to go on a hike noting geological something. So Ilana, Dennis and Naomi (with Ilana's friend Erin) went off to Cougar Mountain and De Leo Wall and encountered a lot of brush and mud but I'm not sure that they found anything particularly geological.

Also Susanna might like to have a mom-made valentine.

Dennis deliveded his requisite box of chocolates. It's a bad carb day for SURE!
