I'm off again to Rockford next week. I suspect that a lot of the snow I left there two weeks ago is still there. The photo is from the end of my parent's street, this was taken BEFORE the big snow storm. Since it hasn't got much over freezing there since I left, the snow is likely piled up higher.
My mom's now in the skilled nursing facility 'across the street'. Doing so so.
But I can go for this week so I will. It's good to be there during the weekdays when more staff are around. Or is it better to be there on weekends when there isn't so many staff around? I don't know that she's getting out of there any time soon.
I can take the pressure off my sibs who have carried most of the load. My brother is having a great, if exhausting, time acting as an assistant coach for a high school fencing team. A big winter sport in the midwest. We want him to be able to go to his last 3 meets.
