Teddy (our large six month puppy) has not given up trying to play with George (our older large white tomcat). He wants to play with George but George just won't go for it. Teddy tries every trick he can think of. But usually Teddy is the one who gets in trouble for leaping, woofing, etc.
So Teddy decides to go with the flow. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. At every opportunity George takes a swipe at him with the front paw. Usually accompanied by hissing and growling but we'll forget about that for right now. So maybe he's supposed to swipe at George with HIS front paw or at least wave at him. Or something. Wouldn't hurt to try it.
Teddy gives it a shot here. Every time George swipes at Teddy, Teddy does it back. Notice that they are really not very close to each other.
It doesn't work....
