Last picture featured from trip to Tempe. Arizona State University has a beautiful softball stadium. Clean and bright and palm trees in the outfield. Pretty comfortable in February. The Ducks beat Texas Tech there that day.
Compare with Oregon's Howe Field. Have I had a picture of it up? It's got loads of atmosphere and a great location right near the center of campus. But no flushies and seating which is a disgrace. I always say I should take a header down that amphitheatre cement seating, bring an injury lawsuit agains U Oregon Athletics and get that place overhauled. I KNOW I've mentioned my one victory at UO...getting the Mac Court bathrooms open during softball games. One must measure one's accomplishments at the end of the day
