Photoessay #521 - Roy?

I'm holding my new puppy, though I'm not going to fetch him until next weekend. Tentative name Roy because he comes from Roy Washington. Six weeks old, the pregnant momma dog rescued. Laura, Naomi and I drove to Roy which is between Puyallup and Tacoma, to visit the puppies that I'd heard about. Mom and most of the pups are brindle. The rescuer has done a fabulous job returning the momma dog to health and these puppies have been lovingly cared for. They were all peppy, happy and healthy. All these brindle puppies running around, how to choose? How to choose? We spent a lot of time in this lady's garage playing with the puppies. The owner mentioned that this one had been particularly cuddly; he was the smallest and seemed a little calmer than the rest. And such a cute little face. He did not hesitate to mix it up with his littermates. She thought she had a home for the momma dog and one of the puppies tomorrow. But Roy can stay with his littermates for another week while we get ready.

Dennis not too thrilled; Roy is a puppy but I think everybody will get along.
