Naomi got her acceptance to Washington State University today. Only place she had applied to so far and her first choice. The envelope came with a big 'Ccongratulations" printed on the envelope. I thought I'm going to be real mad if this is not an acceptance. I handed it to her and she opened it and she, Ilana and I all cheered. You can send them back $200 to take your slot. I think that housing priority is based on date that you send in the deposit.
She's pretty pleased about it. It's the ticket out of here, to be sure. And a lot to look forward to. For my remote readers, WSU is located in the eastern edge of the state in a rolling hill wheat-growing area known as the Palouse. Very different than the marine oriented Puget Sound area.
'Four season there' remarked Naomi with a smile.
