Here's our dinglebat cat George, snuggling up so some nice sharp pencils will stick in his ear. He picks the weirdest place to curl up and try to look comfortable. I call him Brainstem Boy because there's not too much upper cortex action going on with him. He sees something and he bites it without any further thought and then wonders why you are so perturbed. George is not a starter cat, he's not very civilized. He's big on the thick white fur. Dennis explains that he has many many concepts of 'bite' and 'scratch' He does want to be lovey in his own twisted way. After living here several years (we inherited him from Dennis' dad, they got him from Dennis' sister), he still has not quite figured out that the big gentle dog presents no threat to him whatsoever.
Dennis calls him Beacon Boy. He just never blends in and he can never figure that out.
