I really like putting up lights in my front yard during these dark dark months. Now, I don't decorate for xmas AT ALL, but I love to have some lights at my front entry. Just to give a little visual psychic boost. I crave their shine!
The modest display in my front yard put up by Susanna (with assistance from AnnMarie and Uly) at Thanksgiving. MY LIGHTS, I love them. Gowoon wants to put up some more, I thought we used to have some more strings but who knows their current location. Or if they work any more.
Our large white (and not the brightest) cat, George, waits by the front door. He illuminates well, don't you think?

Oh yeah, I see him. He's cute back there. I too have a not so bright cat. I call her "cat challenged." She falls when she jumps. She has lick spasms followed by running in circles. She has a terrible sense of balance and. . . she drools. I love her to death.
Found your blog while Blogger-surfing...stop by Crossword Bebop sometime...
quite a bright cat...
Ghost cat, if you didn't have explanation of what you were looking at!
All the outside plants, trees, grass and scrubs have a layer of ice on them today. Really pretty, but VERY damaging. If we are lucky it will melt before the freezing rain hits later today. If the sun comes out . . . . . everything will sparkle and look like magic! Kinda like what lights look like that you have put up!
