Photoessay 167 - Pictures from the party
The Changes party was a big success, almost 100 people attended. They could not have packed too many people in there. Everything went smoothly, the band was fun, the auction items sold. The house, built in 1905, in one of the oldest grand Seattle neighborhoods had a commanding view and massive amounts of dark wood work and leaded stained glass. Truly a grand location. Seemed to have the original details, including a grand 3 sided fireplace.
Two of the 4 band members were members of the parent group, including David, the bass player who has been in the group as long as I have, over 7 years. Fun to see him play. I gave this picture to him earlier today. The second pcicture is the view from the front foyer looking into the main living room. The structure on the upper left is the bottom of a custom dark wood elevator installed over 40 years ago.
Pretty nice venue for our simple group.
