Photoessay #116 - Aunt Elgie comes to visit
My father's younger sister, Aunt Elgie, came to visit last week. She had a layover in Seattle on her way to an Elderhostel in Alaska. We went out to dinner at a seafood restaurant and hung around at a local state park on Puget Sound. Very encouraging, she had no problem walking around on the uneven beach and seashore strewn with washed up logs. A welcome sight after dealing with steadily failing, physically incompetent parents this past year.
A pleasant visit. Glad to see her! This summer, I say 'take a picture!' but I'm the one taking the photos. Dennis, Ilana and Naomi joke that they 'assume the position'. Elgie joins them here at Saltwater State Park.
