Four seniors posing for pictures before Prom at Shorecrest High School in 2005. All girl scouts. There was a group of about 20 students at a backyard party getting ready to go together as a group. After some joking and ribbing, the four girl scouts got together to pose and assumed the girl scout promise pose. They said the girl scout promise at the time! Actually, these are all committed girl scouts, all have continued on with scouting and at least three of them have been staff at the local girl scout camp. Great kids, all of them and so pretty in their dresses.
My daughter is on the right in the yellow dress, with matching scarf and purse. She looks like a million dollars IMO. Should I mention that the dress was bought in the always-rich Eugene Good Will for $12? Altered by Janine's mom Nancy?
PS Today would have been my father's 81st birthday. He passed away about six weeks ago.
